I hope all families had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! From the kids, it sounded like a lot of turkey was eaten!
We have the Scientist in the School booked for Tuesday, October 17, in the morning. Our grade parents will coordinate the volunteers.
The LKS Book Fair is on this week. The kids will go Tuesday afternoon during their library period. If they forgot to bring money in for today and still wish to purchase a book, they can also attend in the pm recess time (10 min) or 15 minutes before school and 15 minutes after, with a parent/nanny.
The kids have been experimenting with the sphero balls which are a device to learn coding, robotics and just to have fun of course. They have learned how to turn on, send their ball forward to a partner and back to them, change the colour of the ball and adjust the speed of their ball. They're having a lot of fun!
