It was really nice to meet parents at the Curriculum Night Open House.
This week we will be on the third week of Snap Words, with this weeks words being given on Wednesday. So far the words to know in a "snap" are

in, of said, this, was
am, are, can, they, what
Please help your child to read and write sentences with these words.
The children are now reading books at their "just right" reading level in class. These books are meant to be read over a number of times and should be quite easy for them as they are reading them independently.
A book fair is coming and our class will attend on Tuesday October 10th during their library time in the afternoon. If you wish your child to purchase a book, please send money with them on that day in a zip lock plastic bag with their name clearly printed on it. Thanks
