Hello,
This week our snap words are - am, are, can, they, what. Please help your child practice these words to read in a 'snap'. The more sight words learned, the better reader your child will be.
The Terry Fox walk is on Thursday afternoon. If you are joining us, please meet in the gym at 12:35 and we will break into groups. Thank you for your help with this.
The "Me"oral presentations began today. The kids will bring home their bag of special things after their presentation and their booklet with rubric on Friday after all have been completed.
We continue to work on classroom routines, colour and number words, counting forward and backwards to 30 and organizing data on to graphs.
We are learning about the primary colours in art.
The kids are reading charts and words around the classroom and writing in a journal. We are concentrating on printing the letters correctly.
