Please continue to read the leveled books in your child's planner each night they come home. Reading the weekly chart poems in their orange duotang and books at their level will quickly improve their skill and confidence. Reviewing snap and spelling words and writing simple sentences are all things you can help with at home.
We are going to build gingerbread houses the week of December 7th. Could you please provide some supplies for you child's house. Please save your 500ml cartons and send in with your child. Extras welcome. I also need graham crackers, the brand name ones, not the no name. Because some will inevitably break, each child would need about 2 packages,Also a small piece of ribbon for tying and a couple of chinett paper plates. (12 crackers approximately) Closer to the date each child will bring in a bag of candies for decorating their house. Some ideas include -
mini marshmallows
smarties
gum drops
licorish
frosted mini wheats
cereal - whatever kind you want
candy canes
skittles
pretsils
wafer cookies
