Hello,
We have Scientist Judy visiting this morning with 5 activities to do with energy for the children. Thank you to the 4 parents helping out with the activities. Please ask your child what they learned from the activities with Scientist Judy.
The spelling test from last week will be this afternoon because last week was a short week. This week's spelling words which the kids will get tomorrow are - car, can, rug, wet, will, cold with the lesson being beginning and ending sounds of w,c,r.
Snap words for the week are - see, my come, play, went.
I will provide the spelling words and snap words in my weekly blog each week.
In math the kids have been learning about patterns and we are starting to learn about adding and subtracting.
Scholastic order forms went home on Thursday. Please have your order in by Friday 20th. Cheques only thanks.
We have a new big bin toy of remote controlled trucks, etc. called Rokenbok which we have for 2 weeks. It is rotating around the primary classrooms. The kids were introduced to it on Thursday and is a lot of fun!
