Halloween

Hello,
The spelling words for the week are - up, it, him, I, for, or, four, we, man, men with the lesson being short vowels, I and we.

The snap words for the week are - she, when, all, there, her

We will finish up graphing in math and begin sorting and patterns.

In science we will begin to work on energy in our lives.  The scientist comes on November 21st to do "energy" activities.

Please continue to read each day with your child and have them colour in 2 squares each night in their red duotang. They can show me each time they complete a row for a sticker. We have lots of stickers for lots of great reading so far.

Ask your child to tell you the "Reading Helpers" that they have learned to use. i.e. Eagle eyes, stretchy snake, Lips the Fish etc. They should know all of these and more. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for all the Halloween treats today. The kids had fun. Just another reminder that the school is peanut free.
