Hello,
Today we welcomed a new student to our class, Garett. We wish him and his brother well at their new school.
Our trip to Harbourfront is this Wednesday. If you haven't done so already, please bring a shoe box to take on the trip to carry the clay mask home. Also a lunch is needed to eat there. The children will not need their agenda, so their lunchbag in their backpack and a book that will engage them on the bus ride is good too. They will need to wear running shoes for the dancing. They will not wear boots on the trip.
Spelling words this week are - five, mine, like, ride, time, kite, bike, dime. All long 'i' words, with a magic 'e'. Magic 'e' makes the vowel say its name.
Snap words for the week are - best, car, down, pretty, your.
We continue to count by 5's, 10's, 2's and notice the patterns in the 100's chart.
