I hope everyone had a restful, fun March Break!
Spelling test will be this Thursday, March 24th. Words listed on last post.
Stanley journals are due back in class on Thursday! Can't wait to hear all about Stanley's adventures. Oral presentations will start on Tuesday.
In reading the children are beginning to learn about non-fiction books and their features. The first one being the Table of Contents. The kids will learn what a jot note is and begin to read and write facts that they find in their books. This will carry into our next inquiry based science unit about the needs and characteristics of living things.
In math we continue to work on Time to the hour and half hour. We will talk about the passage of time (days, months, years)
