Today, Friday the Stanley journals will come home to begin the fun writing project at home. Please refer to information letter sent home 2 weeks ago. The kids are excited to begin and have coloured their Stanley's for their pictures with him. The journals are due back on Thursday March 24th. If you have misplaced your instructions and marking rubric, please let me know and I will send another one home. Thanks and have fun with Stanley.
As we finish up number patterns on the hundreds chart, counting forwards and backwards, by 5's, 10's, 2's and some children even by 3's, please continue to practise skip counting at home as this is a valuable skill and needs to be practised and memorized. It will be of great help when learning how to count money which we are doing next. (and in future when multiplying and dividing).
