Today we celebrated Alex's birthday. The kids enjoyed a cupcake in his honour. If your child has a birthday and you wish to send in a treat, please do so in the morning. The treat must be peanut free and individual. Thanks!
Please ensure your child has running shoes for gym days.
Scholastic order due dates will be stamped at the top of the first flyer. Please note this date because it will be ordered that day. This month's order is due on Wednesday Sept. 16. Please send in a plastic bag for the books you order as I have a limited supply and it would really help. Thanks.
The Terry Fox walk will be September 30th. All are welcome! Please join us. More info to come.
This week the kids will be getting and writing their first five snap words, (words to be read in a snap) and they will placed on the class word wall. I will introduce 5 new words each week.
Spelling will begin after the Thanksgiving weekend. The children will have a spelling workbook with questions and fill in the blanks.
Snuggle up books will also begin to come home after Thanksgiving. More info to come.
We will also have parent readers in the hall for a couple of days a week. More info to come.
